The puppies are sent home with a collar and leash, a sample of the food they have been eating, training treats, a health record of shots received, as well as a blanket that has the mother and littermates scents to help with the transition to their new home. However, just like in a family, some offspring may carry more dominant traits of one parent or even a grandparent. In general terms, the F1B Goldendoodle is 25 Golden Retriever and 75 Poodle. All of our puppies come with a one-year genetic health guarantee along with their first set of shots, deworming, microchip, heart-worm medicine and Vet approval. We currently raise Standard F1B English Goldendoodles (F1 English Goldendoodle bred to Standard Poodle), and Standard F1B Goldendoodles (cross between an F1 Goldendoodle and a Poodle). An F1B Goldendoodle is the pup from a purebred Poodle and an F1 Goldendoodle. We breed F1 Goldendoodles (mom is a Golden Retriever & dad is a Poodle) and F1 Goldendoodles (mom is an F1 Goldendoodle and dad is a Poodle) puppies.
We try to keep new owners informed by sending weekly emails with updates and pictures of your puppy as it grows. They are seen by our Vet at 6 weeks of age and for an exam and first set of shots. This treatment gets them used to relieving themselves outdoors and makes housetraining much easier. It also lets them be more active. The puppies are given lots of love and daily individual attention before they come to live with you and are well socialized by our 4 children.
Our puppies are born in our home and raised there for the first 4 weeks at which time (weather permitting) they go out to the dog barn next to our house with a doggy door and an outside pen to run in.
